Kasumi of House Goto

Oh Throne Effect, I have both missed you and dreaded our reunion.

Considering the journal post I made some time ago that briefed the situation with Throne Effect’s progress, and how my other option to what I said I was going to do was to use the lesser quality scanner, I decided the Hell with it. I ultimately decided on what I believed to be the lesser of two frustrations.

Okay, let’s move on to talking about this Art.

Oh that Kasumi. She is the Master Thief; you should’ve known it was only a matter of time before she ’acquired’ the Iridium Throne.

I won’t lie, part of me worries that I didn’t do a very good job with this one anatomy wise–then again I am my own worst critic + I often feel that way about all my works. It’s the legs that concern me. I wanted her to have a laid back, almost scheming/crafty kind of pose; to me it felt very Kasumi. But because her attire is pretty dark, I look at it I can’t figure out where her left leg ends and the right one begins or vice versa. Maybe I’m just being too picky/self-critical but I do welcome constructive feedback; it’s the only way I’ll improve. That and practice. Hehe.

As for her Motto, I looked over some of her quotes whenever she goes into stealth mode and thought rather than settle on one, I went with a collection of those quotes and arranged them in such a way that it – combined with the Sigil of herself vanishing – symbolizes how great of a Thief she is and it serves as a minor homage to one the pre-existing Houses in GOT (House Martell to be exact).

IMPOTANT: I haven’t watched series 4 of Game of Thrones yet and I have heard that a member of House Martell has a big role in that season so NO SPOILERS PLEASE! Thank you.

Honorable mention should go to for voting for her. That being said, while I do encourage fellow Deviants to say/vote who they’re most looking forward to seeing next, because I’m this far in I’ve made a decision of who I want to draw the series to a close, so I hope you don’t think I’m ignoring you if you do vote for this House leader but they don’t appear until the end.
